its at chester road motors, warrington, cheshire

here's the link (hope it works) I know the wheels need changing etc, but its had a few mods which would save me some money in the long run, so i'm very tempted, gonna have a look at it on friday, if the bodyworks upto scratch, then i'll probably go for it, and get some original wheels

Ball joints seem to suffer quite badly when you put big wheels on a Clio, so worth checking them and all the other suspension components out. Good opportunity for bargaining :)

looks like some speakers in the doors, replace gearknob and maybe steering wheel....i'd leave the lights though - makes a nice change and its a period mod !

Aww look at it! Looks just like my old one (from the front)

I Have seen this car knocking around - most of the time I spotted it at cruises (back in the day) and at the street racing in Warrington - so 99.9% chance its been ragged to fook :P

well that was a complete waste of a journey! thought the wheels didn't look to bad in the pics, but once there and on the car, they looked shite, exhaust was blowing, although the dodgy characters who run the garage insisted it was that "stupid big exhaust" making the noise, yeah right, from the middle? took a while to start, then sounded more like it had done 172,000 miles not 72,000, alarm battery had gone dead, so rather than replace it they took the alarm fob off, and then try telling me about how good the standard key immobiliser is,looked through the receipts, a few from hill power, stage 2 head, lowered suspension, filter etc, asked to see the "comprehensive service history" as told about, erm you dont get a service book with a 5 year old car, never mind a 10 year old car, arches where ok to be fair, boot lid had started to go though,

conclusion.............................. ****ing wankers!

so i'm still looking for a lowish milage willy, preferably a 3, with some mods!

cheers for the link mate, i'm keeping my eye's open every day for one, thing is all the low milers seem to be standard, fancy one with a few mods really i.e breathing mods and suspension, just to save a bit of money in the long run, not to fussed about the wasted journey really, settled my mind, so that was good enough
