I hope some of you guys with bucket seats can answer my question. I am about to buy a set, but i would like to keep the tilt funktion of the original seats, for backseat acces. I have some subframes from an Renault 19, i was thinking of modifying them, but does anybody know if they will fit the rails in my Valver? If somebody has some other suggestions, i will be very pleased.

Thanks a lot
Dennis

I think it would be tough to keep the tilt function ..some sort of hybrid mount would have to be created not easy + it would end up sitting quite high which defeats the point imo

if you take your original seat out and send it to cobra they will remodel the seat and keep the original functions.

its expensive though

tbh I've always wondered how you can mount properly the belts,
since they are originaly mounted on the seat frame...

bolt them to the side mounts, and the original seatbelt places.

I don't think you'd be able to make them tip if you use harnasses.

I was thinking that mate. I will probably start using the standard seats, maybe with a CGLock, and see how it works. As i really have to use the car everyday. But the thoughts of harnesses are apealing.

ahh its fine. get some nice comfy buckets and harnesses, and within a week or so you will take them as standard!

feels much safer as well!
