my whole brakes need doing, i was thinking braided hoses, some decent brake fluid, all calipers refurbing, and then maybe tarox or brembo max discs, maybe fornt and rear, and also what are green stuff pads like? any1 got any ideas? also when you change rear discs, are the bearings press fitted in to the disc? GSF do brembo max discs for quite cheap aswell dont they? also has any1 used a caliper refurb kit? what are they like to do?

yes id change all the hoses for braided ones, and obviously all fluid, also check your bias valve is working correctly and not seized up

the rear discs do have press fitted bearings, iirc only rear discs from renault come with the bearings everywere else doesnt, personally i cant see the point in drilled or grooved discs, std do fine, its the pads and calipers that tend to make the difference(unless of course your discs are shot)!!

most ppl run pagid fast road pads or mintex1144 fast road pads, not seen many use EBC stuff, personally i wouldnt myself, never liked them on the VTR!

as for caliper refurb kits, its upto u, never tryed them myself- ended up fitting new rear calipers and also run 4pot calipers upfront!

if it has abs there will be a asb unit under were the coolant bottle sits

u can just make it out with the green pipes goin to it, if it dont have abs there will be alot more space there!
