Yesah Clios aren't the best cars to have an emergency in. Not exactly stable

On the contrary, it is very quick to regain composure from a lock-ups or slides. IMO, Williams are very predictable cars at limits. You just need to be familiar with how the car react at extreme situations.

Glad to hear car and holl are OK.

mine locks up quite easy tbh, but its predictable as out when it does, no pullin to the side or anything, jst dead straight skid!

mines lockd up a few times now.....

i find the best thing 2 do is cum off the brake and then back on it....or if uv lockd up on a bend cum off the brake, steer....then more gas

when i spun mine on the d/c at 80mph, i didnt crash it
didnt hit the barriers or anyones car, and i spun 4 times rght across the d/c

but i did the same, didnt let go of the wheel. One side of the car lifted up but nothing happened to me :D

didnt even stall, landed, right way round, in the fast lane, but still running, in 4th.

select 1st, and shot off :D

scary tho aint it hol :( i couldnt stop shaking for ages after it happened to me

i was in my RN dude, b4 i had the valver
I went to over take this twat doing 50mph on the d/c
but i didnt look in my blind spot and something VERY fast came right up the side of me, i swerved back into my lane, but by then i was too close to the car i was overtaking so i had to go up the l/h side of him, on the stones, turned back onto the d/c and i had no traction, and spun it

I was thinking of how easy it is to destabilise the rear end with quick turns. But, like you said, I'm not really familiar with the car's handling on the edge. I don't piss about on public roads, and I haven't got £100's to spend on track days! Why are track days so bloody expensive?!

Andyvalver

The only trouble i have is lift off oversteer every now and again. You need to keep on the power until the end of bends. Like if your racing someone down a country lane round the twistys and you go quicker than them round a bend, you have to let off so you dont run into them and the back end goes a little light and slides 8)

FCS track time was only £45 for an hour. You have all the space you could need to play around there.
