i know there is a really good guide for jacking up the car at the side, but i want to get the front and the back (not at the same time) up, I.E. both front wheels up and both back wheels up. i've got a 2 tonne jack but just need somewhere to stick it (on the car obviously, no jokes ;) )

i've got a set of ramps but due to the lowered naturer of the car thats a no go :(

in the haynes it shows some special tool that renault use, but i doubt i need that do i?

thick piece of wood or metal across the subframe, then jack it in the middle

i just use shoddy renault jack n axle stands, easy as 123!

1 jack up one side, axle stand
2 jack up other side, axle stand
3 make a brew cuz am knackered by then! :D

Yep, follow Coops.

Although if the jack doesn't go high enough for ya. The repeat process with the jack on a nice big block of wood, giving you more height (presuming the axle stands can go that high too).

NEVER have the car resting on a single point in the middle. Even taking a wheel off could effect the balance and end up tilting over.
