On my way home tonight i lost my gears  Couldnt shift in to any as it wouldnt let me. Iv managed to get it working now but the stick has no spring to it when moving over to where 1st and 2nd are, making it a hard to change gear tbh. Is it an easy fix?

Cheers :P

Get underneath and have a look at all the connections/linkages. If the car is steady enough then you can get a friend to try and select the gears whilst you are underneath and watching the movements. You might have to remove the central heatsheild to see the bits directly underneath the gearstick...can't quite remember.

Anyways, have a butchers then you can rule out the external mechanicals.

Really hope its not anything serious.

When its in neutral does it spring back to centre....if not ther is a spring that attaches to teh car and the bottom end of the stick whrre it goes through car, these often come off
