Ok ive got this clio and its being scrapped, however i dont want it to go to the scrappie with the engine still in, i also dont have an engine stand either.

I have the rocker cover off, which bolts do i need to undo, any pictures you could post would be great!!

take the camshafts out, the bolts are usually undernearth the cams on a twin cam, but dont forget to undo them in the right order, if you want to save the head that is

No, the headbolts are not under the cams. They are clearly visable once the rocker cover is removed.

Make sure its a 3/8" drive T55.

A 1/2" drive T55 won't fit.

so long as timing belt is off and u've undone the exhaust manifold to dowpipe joint it shud lift off, might be bit stuck tho so stick block of wood under the lifting points and hit it with a hammer upwards to release the head. i presume everything else is disconnected like wiring loom and fuel lines?!
