As most of you will know I'm selling my williams...and providing my license does'nt go for a stay in Swansea I'll be looking to get something new(er). I'm thinking about maybe turbo power, new(ish) and it needs to handle pretty well...I've got 5-6k to spend. Ideas?

Get that. The guy who owns it obviously likes it as hes spent alot on it. Suprised he isnt keeping it. Oh well. Make him an offer.

lol....i guess cycling didn't last too long then martin!!!

Im thinking you should have a look into maybe an impreza P1, turbo 4 wheel drive, but a bit pricey!

So how about a Nissan pulsar GTI-R, turbo 4 wheel drive, pick one up for 6k!

Cosworth, saph???

An old Evo 1,2 or 3?

Im not sure whats out for around that price range, which is, light, powerful and fast!!!

Maybe a clio williams!!!

I think this comes down to the old fact:

None of us could replace the handling, speed and ownership appeal of our cars for anywhere near a similar price

dannyt
08-02-2005, 13:09
Your probably right there KS as thats the reason why we own our cars!

I think it's time to move onto a willy hybrid mart, you've had the williams now go for the best!!!!

What about a Seat Ibiza Cupra R...

Turbo power, VAG reliabilty, easy tunning potential...

I was looking the other day and ones with about 30/40k on the clock were only around £7k... considering they were proper expensive new id say there looking good now! :P

dannyt

I'm actually a bit tempted to keep it..but its not worth keep pouring money into it. I have'nt had any luck with this car at all! Might start looking in autotrader...I need something in the 13s for York this year I think!

I got my arse kicked by one of those Starlet thingys, problem being it had too much power the knob couldn't keep the thing in a stright line on the motorway, the thing was kicking and screaming all over the place looked very unstable.

Dont sell your williams you will only regret it. I am glad i didn't sell my clio when i brought my focus because iam bored of the focus now and iam going to sell it soon and start driving the clio again. Why sell the car when you have spent that much money and then sell it too some lucky basted to reep the rewards. unless you plan to keep your next car standard then dont buy a new car for relabilty.
