When i bought my Williams it was already lowered, either 35mm or 40mm. I want to change it so it's a little higher as the cat keeps catching on speed humps. Does anyone do any springs which will only give about a 15-20mm drop?? If not, it'll be back to standard springs but i'd prefer it to be slightly lower than standard, thanks

Oh, and if anyone has got some standard springs kicking around which they want to sell, let me know. Normal 16v springs are also the same aren't they??

Yep 172 springs are identical, same ride-height and both are rated to 125lbs. I do have a set off a low mileage 2001 172 which are available for £30 inc p+p.

I can get a set of custom springs made up to any spec and delivered for @ £100 all in last time I checked . Does take a couple of weeks for the springs though.
