A cool mids meet, for a drive and photoshoot, may get some good pics to display for FCS.

Meet will be in Derby, and i dont know how many of u wanna travel to there, but some nice roads apparently, so meet somewhere there and go for a drive, park up somewhere [should be nice weather, have a cool beer, chat, then trot back.

up to buxton, then back down towards bakewell, then to matlock then through tansley

meet at the services/petrol station near junction 28 of M1 [will find one and get a postcode for ur sat navs]

on-route we will stop off at a pub n have a quick bevvie before carrying on


meet time is 3 on sunday 23rd
make a note in ur diaries ppl!

i live about 2 mins from south normanton, as done Matt uk, there is a really good bit of road not to far from there, about a mile long, has anyone ever heard of the rock and blues festival, because that road runs right near there! me and my mates see who can do it quickest, matt uk whent pretty quick in his pulsar so ive heard, see if anyone thinks they can drive it quicker than matt if he will show his face!! theres also a pub near south wingfield where you can sit outside aswell, and quite a few cars used to go down there in the summer, but it might be a bit early for them yet! ill have a word with matt and see if he wants to go

Right been and done the route this afternoon so that i know the way, i reckon it's quite good, most roads are national speedlimits and not overly busy, although being easter probably didn't help today, naturally there are a few 30 limits but they don't last too long :D

Route is 65 miles and took about an hour and half today.
Start off in Swawick to meet up at the bp services with travelodge and little chef, its about 10minutes along the A38 from Junction 28 of the M1.
Then head down through Oakerthorpe
South Wingfield
Crich
Wakebridge
Cromford
Up to Buxton
Down to Bakewell
Rowsley,
Back route round Darley Dale
Overton
Tansley
Oakerthorpe
Back to the meeting place.

There's a big layby inbetween buxton and bakewell that looks like it would be good to get a few pics, theres alos a few pubs along the way if anybody fancies a quick drink.

Get off at junction 28 M1 and get into the left hand lane.
Take the first left off the island onto the A38 towards Alfreton.
You then need the 3rd exit off the A38, should be signposted Alfreton, Swanwick etc. You'll also see the Big 'Little Chef & BP' sings as you come up the sliproad.
Take the first exit left off the isalnd, 100yards later is another isalnd, take the first exit left again. Then about 30 yards later you turn into the service station, follow the road round the back of the bp petrol station and it leads you into the travelodge and littlechef carpark, we'll be waiting in there :D
(This takes literally 5 minutes from junction 28, i'll try and find a postcode for it if people need one for satnav's etc)
