She is having open heart surgery this morning

Yep, that's right, the clio is having it's headgasket, cambelt and water pump done over the next day or two.

Dropped her off Friday afternoon at my local garage with a bag on the passenger seat containing:-

Headkit
Headbolts
Cambelt kit
Water pump
Low temp fan switch
Low temp thermostat
Oil & Filter
De-cat Gaskets (just in case)

I'm picking up a set of new jubilee clips tonight to go on my fresh new Hill Power hoses and then I am off to the garage to flush out the coolant syatem while it's all apart and swap the hoses over.

Also need to send my mate to Renault for a new header cap as the rubber in mine was perished to death

Fingers crossed, I hope nothing goes wrong for her

Probably is my bottom end TBH.

On kick over, it raises to nearly 4, then drops to just a touch under 3.

Holds 3 at 4k on the m/way, then when I stop at the lights, it litrally drops to zero

She is currently critical, but stable.

Hopefully she will have recovered from her operation by tomorrow evening, weeeeeeeeeeeeeee
