I'm off to decat 123....my mate did it last time, today, just me and my spanners.....should i worry about anything? Its only 4 bolts....

be aware of rust :lol: i had to cut the flange off my cat to get it off. rendering it useless :shock:

ill jack it up and assess the situation...I dont have a saw, so i cant hurt it too badly.

I got a dremel multi....dont think it'll have the same effect.

hmm, not unless you have about 3 days at hand 8)
have fun lol aslong as the bolts are not rusted to hell then will be piece of cake to swap! :)

LOL that lasted well....all the bolts are corroded, and my mate is changing a cam belt so he cant help. Might try again tomorrow or monday. Pah!

Take it to an exhaust and tyre place. They will change it for a tenna...job done :wink:

cover it in wd 40
and just work at them slowly slight turns
Just snap them off if there corroded, there useless anyway as you won't wanna put rusty bolts back on.

Ok so got em all off yesterday, and having spent 2 hours lying with my head in a puddle, in the rain getting wet, i found the bolts that i got from renault were too ****ing big for the holes!!
So i got some new ones this morning and have just got it all back together. It now sounds like a fighter :D boh!

Just grind the bolts off, no need to grind the flange off.
