2.0 8v bottom end

ok have been offered a a 2.0 8v engine from a megane with the intention of taking the bottom end off and fitting to my car

just wanna make sure...............because its a 8v engine would it differ with the bottom end or do all 2.0 bottom ends do the same job regardless the head???

i was gonna do that to my rsi, but they are only about 115 bhp std, 5 bhp up on rsi power, so decided to sell and get a hybrid.

2.0 8v bottom end is to the 1.8 8v engine what a 2.0 16v bottom end is to a 1.8 16v engine

It won't fit...different water ways, piston crowns etc
