What is needed to fit valver suspension to an RT? just the front hubs and be done with it? or will i need wishbones...driveshafts and subframe?
Same for the rears too

I believe, but am not 100% sure, that as long as your hub on the RT has 54mm bolt spacing (can be 52 or 54) you can fit the valver struts straight to the RT. I would imagine you could just bolt the rear shocks on, but I don't really know about the rears.

I've got it on my 1.2

The above is right, you just need 54mm spacing hubs..beyond that it will all bolt on fine, including the rears.

I'm going to fit -50mm 16v springs tomorrow so will post pics up if you want?

Right, just spent the last two hours swaping from -35mm valver springs to -50mm valver springs on my 1.2 and the result is...A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!

Basically it doesn't lower an extra 20mm...comparing before and after its maybe gone down 5-10mm over the -35mm ones i had previously but the ride is also very harsh...uncomfortably so IMO. I think i'm going to swap back to the 35mm springs tomorrow an they're a far superior ride (SPAX instead of APEX).

In short tho, 16v springs must be a significantly higher poundage...this coupled with the lightness of a 1.2/1.4 does not give good results so stick with -35mm items if you go this route.

-35mm 16v springs = -50mm non-16v springs.
-50mm 16v springs = -55mm non 16v springs.

still arguing that 16v suspenions is better then uprated stuff for non 16v clios? ;)....you sorta proveed my point there

Well yes and no really.

Shockers are fine but its finding springs that aren't too harsh thats the problem IMO....however i guess thats a personal preference and what sort of driving you do. I'd imagine stiffer is good for track days etc?

Stiff owns, my ar is set as hard as it will go for road driving, and it stays like that for track days....but then that suits my driving style

Could you not just put non-valver springs on the calver shocks? IIRC the springs are interchangable.

Yeah sure.

I didn't go that route as i wanted stiffer (since i have no ARB)...35mm do the job but 50mm is too much for me. :)

well im not gettin an rt now im gettin my old 1.2 ph3 back :)

will valver suspension still fit aslong as its 54mm spacin? without soundin gay i like it stiff.....

thinkin of coilovers or something for it....i intend to keep her along time as insuring anything with 9 points is ridiculous....not paying 1900 tpft on a 1.4!
will the ARB off a valver go on then?
