sorry, couldnt resist the title! :D im sure its been done many times b4 but it still makes me laugh  lol

my gear stick (and knob :P ) throbs really badly on accelration and deceleration. from what i can gather its a new dog bone i need.

does anyone have a reno part number or an equiverlant (hill power, GSF etc)

thanks

to be fair they all gearnobs/sticks move on acceleration/deceleration simply cos the dogbone is a crap design. Far more than any other car i've seen. It just depends if its moving a stupid amount then you may have a problem.

Example, my car has all new engine mounts inc dogbone and the stick still moves on idle and on acceleration/deceleration.

ah ok :)

i've only driven it once, but from what i saw it didnt do it on idle, just on accelerating and easing off
