if anybody is around that area and fancies meeting up......

best place to meet for me would be wigan fc carpark (as its easy to find, and usually empty - even on match days).

7pm.

might venture into a bar with a pool table.

i am the daddy at pool. so, consider the challenge set.

you may joke, but I seriously think it is. think about it, when was the last meet we had that was any good? personally the only meets that are really good are where we ALL get together and go for a spirited drive somewhere. After a good run over the peaks I'm usually buzzing for the following week, it's so much better that way, gives a reason to go and gets people socialising more imo.

the weekday meet has killed it......the peaks was gettinh a bit dicey.....the local runs for members died a death.....all seems to be muscrat manor for a pissin down night in the pub

and nobody's actually going there to get wasted... poor form... bring back the drives out... thing is I use my car every day and coming to yours is like doing a peaks run at times... god I love that Walsden 50 road... gets a bit ****ing hairy like at times!

any ideas how i get there from rochdale what junction is wigan fc

i come on the m62 then on to ? junction ? :)

from rochdale, come down 62, then 61, then come off at junction 4? and go through atherton/leigh into wigan.

easiest way would be to meet me at junction 4 of the m61 at about 6.30.

i think its junction 4? not been that way for a while.

is there a decent pub with a pool table that we can drive out to?

one with a decent jukebox that isnt full of now that what i call music cds.

oh, and a bar that doesnt require a credit card to buy soft drinks.

and if theres any talent behind the bar, thats a bonus.
