Hello!
Im on standard suspension at the moment and need upgrading due to hairy handing! Im sure they are the original shocks from when the car was new so I guess they are slightly worn!!
Im after a nice set up for good handling.
Can anyone recommend any suggestions on how to achieve this?
I would be grateful for your feedback.

Go to Renault and buy some new ones. You'd be amazed at how much of a difference new shocks and top mounts makes.

All depends on budget, resprucing the original stuff can work wonders without resorting to expensive stuff, then theres williams wide track @ £500 new or coilovers which will be anything from £300 - £1000+

on a smaller budget i'd recommend new shocks, top mounts and ARB bushes, maybe wishbones aswell :D

I went willy-track - still getting used to it as it's so stiff compared to my old, knackered (probably original) set up!
Seems very good though - always feel very stable, even in the wet, and also at high speed *cough*95*cough* chasing an M5 round a slip road with a 50 limit between motorways
you can buy new shocks from gsf top mounts bearings bushes etc will make a huge difference. otherwise buy leda coil overs. the best suspension i have ever used.
i brought spax sports all round spring n dampers
handles like a go cart

I was thinking of a good set of spax or simular brand all round and a slight lowering of the torsion bar. Coilovers would have been my fav, but heard mixed views on them. Want to budget around £300, Willy wide track would be the dogs bolox but not gonna get it with £300 squid.
