Well after not washing the car for couple of months i thought id make an exception yesterday and went to get some clay and treated my car with the autoglym full works, here it is a mk1 phase 3 's', dont abuse the sport badges as there standard from renault!

im really wanting either a spanking valver now or a 172 as the power of this 1.4 is adequate but i want more!!but im more favored towards a hybrid to be honest as mk1 styling looks so much better than the mk2's

basically wash the car, then chamois it down till dry then get the detailer spray and spray onto paintwork them rub this ball of clay over the paint work so its smooth then polish and seal!

job done!

Clay bars are superb, get the meguiars clay kit, consists of clay bar and qwik detailer spray.

Does my car need it? put a plastic bag over your hand and feel the paintwork if you feel lumps n bumps such as tar, sap etc then yes your car needs it, when done your paint will feel like glass.

Wash the car, dry it then spray detailer on the paint, work the clay in your hands until it warms up and becomes more flexible than cold, mould it into a bar of soap shape then move it up and down your paintwork as if rubbing soap onto your bods, dont let the surface dry out got the claybar will begin to stick to the paint and becomes a bugger to shift.

When done rewash and dry the car feel your paintwork then polish seal and wax then standback and admire the work.

if you want something easy to use after the claying, use Meguiars NXT, this is an all in one product which is very very good
