brake upgrade

after just nearly running into the back of a bus i think iam in need of better brakes, does any1 know of a good upgarde from a renault, like a 21 turbo? can this be done? i would really like 4 pot calipers but havnt really got the money straight out to go and buy brand neew, any1 know? aslo what are the best straight swap upgrades? ebc? tar-ox? i had brembo max on my last 16v and they wasnt bad!

Just tidy up the std items. They're perfectly fine when working properly. I use mine on track no trouble.

after getting new calipers and pads on the rear i think ill just get new OE calipers for the front as the difference is very noticeable, i think my original ones are just past there best

to be honest standard should be fine with decent pads (i run mintex m1144's), standard discs are fine too.

When are you going to push it to the point that u want 4 pots?

brun just get a seal kit and rebuild your fronts there is less to go wrong. easy to do .

Yeah but you told me the pads that were on there were crap, they are fine, just needed wearing in :twisted:
